Just confirmed it with my travel agent, and I'll be heading to Disneyland California and Universal Hollywood on October 9th, 5 days / 4 nights for Disneyland itself, staying at the Holiday Inn Express and then another 4 nights staying at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City with 2 days for Universal Hollywood, leaving a few extra days to explore and play tourist in other parts of the city.

Looking forward to seeing both Parks in their full Halloween dress. ;D

I'll be flying direct from Amsterdam to Los Angeles.

I'll do my best to write up a "live" trip report like I've done on previous journeys, as these have been met with some enthusiasm. :D

If anyone has any tips or "must sees" in LA itself, feel free to let me know. :D

Have a great time!

That is certainly the plan Norhel, and it'll be the first time visiting a Disney park during Halloween season, looking forward to seeing all those decorations. ;D

Have a great time DisneyRon! I absolutely loved Disneyland California, it is so lush. Preferred it 100% to WDW. If you've got a spare couple of days, i'd recommend taking part in a Warner Brothers Studio Tour if that is something you're interested in, it's really interesting and good fun. You may even see some things actually being filmed and you get to visit the set of Big Bang Theory which i loved (huge fan) and Central Perk (even huger fan!) Loads of Harry Potter and Batman memorabilia there too

Thank you all, looking forward to my trip. :D

I'll look into the Studio Tour Twentythingamabobs, it is reasonably close to my hotel (as I'm staying at Universal City), but a little trickier to reach by public transport. :)

I'll certainly try. :D I'm one of those people that prefers to remember, rather than taking pictures of everything, but I do usually take a fair number of photos over the course of a trip.

If you need any advice or tips let me know, I did both DLR and Universal in June :)

I visit DLP regularly as a Dreams AP guest, and in the past year have visited HKDL and WDW.

My next long haul trip is Disneyland in California.

I am obsessed with the Disney duck gang!

Did you write a trip report on your visit? :D It would be good to read about your experiences.
As for advice and tips, anything that you can offer would be most welcome, I haven't taken a deep dive into what's available and such. Though it is Halloween time, so I'll try and grab a Halloween Party ticket for one day at least.

But I haven't actually finished it yet - but it's a good start, DisneyRon!

I hope to finish it tomorrow morning.
