Hello again!

Being in a desperate situation, almost sure that i got rejected for any vacancy of casting members, id like to know if anybody that participated in the session in greece got an answer from the recruitment members.

Please, fellow citizens, bring it as smoothly and clearly as you can. 8)

Thank you in advance,

I got an email today that unfortunately, I did not get through. Well, I was expecting this outcome, so it's not so bad.
@ericsake
allow them a littel time to go through all applicants, for me it was 2 weeks between the casting session and the response email.

As far as I know they should email you within 10 days, even if it's only to tell you that you've not been successful. You will probably hear from them tomorrow! Good luck X

I attended Athens recruitment day and I haven't received an answer either. They told us that we will receive an answer in 10 days max. They said that they will even start answering in Monday and that all of us will receive a YES or NO answer within 10 days.

Ooooh I didn't know you got talent pool for that too. I thought they just offered jobs. Ours is all done by a casting director whom you have to receive a call from. Do you get 6 months for them to find you a job too? xoxo

Actually ive registered for the months February-September,so i guess im gonna be informed to fly to Paris in springtime.

What about other cast members?did u get any email or sth?

Yeah the performers get put in the talent pool for a maximum of 6 months and if you haven't heard from them within that time then you have to re-audition.

Hey, Ericsake.
I attended the Athens day as well.
I guess it went pretty well since i'm in the talent pool.
Now,waiting.
I told them that i'm not available during summer so i guess they may offer me a contract for Easter or for some other short period of time.

Don't know if this fits here or not but I'm unsure where to post this :)
I'm ringing DLP on monday to confirm that I want the Christmas job (yay!), but when will I know which residence I'll be in? and also what about getting to the parks? is there a shuttle bus or something? also food wise (while in the residence) is there a supermarket near by, or is there like a cafeteria in the residence? just so I can plan ahead (money wise) thanks
Jess :)

When I worked for DLP in the summer I didn't find out which residence I was in until I arrived. With regards to getting to the park there is a public bus which you pay for and DLP will reimburse you 75%. Food wise there is a large supermarket near by and there are cafeterias in the Disney park for cast members.

I'll be working for Disney at Christmas too =] I hope what I said is helpful

hello, Jess again :P

Just wondering, is anyone else working on attractions, and if so, do you think Doc Martens (with steel toe caps) would be acceptable work shoes? as i don't want to buy them then get told when i arrive that they are not right.
Merci, thank you!
