Descent of the Stairs

Just under a week before we head off for our second Christmas trip and after watching all the youtube clips I'm more excited than ever.

One of the things we have never managed to see is the descent of the stairs, can anyone tell me what days/times it is on?

its usually Thursday through to Sundays, in the foyer of the Disneyland Hotel. The times are subject to change, so you're best to pop into the DLH and check out the times on the notice board located near the bottom of the staircase.

its a character meet n greet, it only takes place in the Disneyland Hotel but is open for anyone to go see it. The characters dance down the stairs to music, then you can meet them to have your photo taken with them/get an autograph etc.

I've alwasy wanted to do this but never got round to it. The kids may well want to do this next month if its on. Is the meet and greet organised or is it a free for all lol? Thanks

its a free for all - but its usually so quiet that you can easily meet all the characters without a lot of scrumming - unless the park is mega busy, this meet n greet is usually a fairly pleasant one

Aww, no Friday?

I'm only going on a Friday on our next trip, and I keep saying I wanna see this / see the Disneyland Hotel, but from my 12 trips still haven't done it once.

This is why I love having this forum, until now I've never heard of Descent of the Stairs. :shock:

In fact I've never walked into/checked out the DLH, during my previous trips (I know, I know, ridiculous). However, on my next trip I DO plan to go have a look, book dinner there maybe. Enjoy the ambience/ be nosey!

Yes, it's on Fridays (it's on from Thursday to Sunday, ie Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

)

yes, its on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons usually.

How many characters normally come down the stairs? Which 1s we are going mon-thurs. Going to struggle to do that before boarding eurostar?
