Christmas market?

Postby stacers » Sun Nov 11, 2012 12:59 pm

Hi
I am very excited to be visiting Disney just before Christmas. We have been a few times and I have been tempted to venture out of the parks after seeing pictures of the amazing Champs Elysees Christmas market, is this worth doing? and does it take long to get there? baring in mind I would have to trade a day in the parks for it.

Hi there, weve been once before and it was fab we are going again on 21st Nov, we are going to go into paris about 2 oclock though and go into the park beforehand because it is much nicer when it starts getting dark.......theres loads of lovely things to eat and buy, I would say though if we only had say 3 days in the park we wouldnt go into paris but as weve got 5 days losing half a day isnt too bad. Have a great time. :D :D :D

The trip with the RER takes about half an hour and is very easy to use. :)
Christmastime in Paris is gorgeous, and if you've got enough time on your hands to spend a day strolling along a market, definitely do it. However, if you've never been to Paris and you want to see all the tourist attractions in one day? Don't go. Book a seperate trip instead.
But in your case; a definite go! :D

Thanks this has all been really helpful! We'd like to go at night but don't want to miss dreams, so think we might set off in the morning and try and see a bit of paris while we are there and hopefully get back in time for the parades.
