4 Day 20th Celebration! *Day 4 added* [FINISHED]

Hey everyone! Currently uploading and editing my photos from my recent trip to Disneyland Paris for the 20th Anniversary!
The trip was from 10th-13th April.

I just wanted to get this sorted out ready for the first day - which was rainy. Fail.

Still - I hope you guys will enjoy this once I get the ball rolling!

Sorry, I didn't do one. I will be doing a small one soon to explain why and just to say a few things. =]


DAY 1!

Tuesday 10th April. We arrived the night before on a later flight - we got the TGV to Disney then took the RER to Val d'Europe to stay at the L'Elysée. We then had a late dinner at the local pizza place.

We got to the park at 10:30 as we took the connection bus late and also there was slight traffic.


It was completely over-cast, cold with a bit of light rain here and there - so I didn't take any photos of the castle as of yet - however we headed straight through the empty central plaza and straight into Fantasyland! Then towards Alice's Labrynth.



We came out and saw our first characters of the day! Mary and Bert!


Tried to get a photo together however they went in - but while we waited Hatter and ALICE appeared. I've never seen Alice in Paris before, so I ran to have my photo!



We followed Hatter who was talking to guests in the line for the Labrynth.



We then followed him to the Tea-cups and just watched him being Mad.


It then rained like mad! So we ran to take shelter near Adventureland.


We then saw Pinccohio, Gepetto and Gideon! I didn't get any photos as they just ran out and we walked past them. Well I did. and they were walking fast. XD

The rain let up and we walked through Fantasyland towards Small world - it then began raining even harder! >.< We saw Alice and Hatter still out and Alice shouted "OH MY! WHERE DID ALL THIS RAIN COME FROM?" They ran away - but we walked towards Mainstreet without seeing Mickey! I thought my dad was joking when he was behind me!

On Mainstreet - we saw Cinderella, her Prince, Snow White and Aurora! Who came out from the Arcade we think

We then caught the 20th Anniversary Train which didn't stop because of the rain. ¬.¬

We then made our way up to see Duffy!

We made our way back down - had tea and some cakes in the corner shop - because it was still raining - it was soooo busy!

Then the rain let up for a while.



We made our way to Adventureland and saw Aladdin, Genie and Jafa! Sadly, Jafa and Genie left before I had my photo. But I got one with Aladdin.

Thank goodness by this point the sun was shining through! So we made our way to the top of Adventureland to see the newly painted ship!


We then went into Skull Rock!


We then went back to Fantasyland! I wanted to capture Fantasyland as much as possible so I took some panoramas!

It then started raining even harder! So we ran through Discoverland into Videopolisis and sat watching Cartoons for a while. Ha, we then just walked around the place until the rain settled down. Eating at Casey's and just relaxing. Also I bought another PIN! A Peter Pan one. =D



Then we got a good-ish place for the parade! I have better photos to upload soon! But these will do for now. =D



We then went back to Fanstyland and went on Blanche Neige et Les Sept Nains

and back to Adventureland and into The Enchanted Passage of Aladdin.



Finally we went to find a decent place for DREAMS! I set up my tripod and cried my eyes out! XD

So yes! That was day 1! Very rainy! Very relaxing but over all a nice day!

Hey everyone! Thank you for your kind words, glad you are enjoying it so far! =D

Fantastic photos what camera do you use?

I use a brand new Sony SLT A55. I only got it a week before I went to LA in March.

DAY 2!

Next day we headed straight to the Studios - which was weird since we normally go in the park first.

We headed straight for Crushes Coaster which non of us have been on before and after a 90 minute wait- OMG! It was soooo fast and intense. >.< I didn't like it.
After we headed to meet Buzz.

Then headed towards Toy Story Playland and it started to rain again.


We then walked around back past toon plaza.


But then the sun shined through. =]




We then just chilled - sat on a bench - looked in the shops - had lunch. Waited for characters that never arrived. So we got a good space for Star's n' Car's.

We then headed back to the park and stopped by in the hotel so see if they character event on the stairs was for Thurs-Sun. But at the same time we saw lots of Mercedes Limos arrive and a ever rich looking Arab woman arrive with guests.
My dad kept saying that it might have been The Prince.
But we were unsure at this point.




We then went into the park and just camped out for the parade. Got a nice spot in the shade and I was sooo happy for the sun to be shining!



There was a little britsh girl next to me dressed head-to-toe as Rapunzel - That was her reaction! XD



Special love for the toy-soilder on the left! He waved at me and kept looking at me - we think it might be a certain boy who doesn't want to grow up!

If you go to 3:10. The Toy soilder on the left of the screen notices me - he then crosses over but then comes back to the left side. But he keeps looking at me throughout the entire performance! But he waves at me like "oh i know you!" - not just "a general parade wave". He was smiling at me any everything! AH! I really do think its.... from last year! <3
Please note I didn't really have the camera up that much - and I did wave back - thats why he nodded. AH! I hope it was! XD

We then headed towards the Dragon - I wanted to take some long-shutter photos of the dragon and my tripod broke... ¬.¬
One of the legs got stuck but I was still able to use it.

I also took some photos of the firework cannons on the castle - but some strange reason - they were blurry as hell. So i left them out.

We then went back to the hotel for some good shut-eye for an early start tomorrow! 20th! Yay!

I said at the top of day 2 - I use a brand new Sony SLT A55. I only got it a week before I went to LA in March. It's a bit pricey but I think it's completely worth it.

Asolutly stunning pictures!!
