Hi

Is it possible to dine at Crockett's Tavern if you're not staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch?

Thanks

Which of the character dining restaurants is the best? I will go and check the rest of the forum just in case I missed this topic somewhere....

How far in advance would you book for Lunch at Auberge du Cendrillon? We're going in September

Thanks

Yes, you can but I would seriously reconsider. We've always been a fan of DCR and Crocketts Tavern but alas it too has succumbed to the cost cutting of the money men at DLP. Where you used to get BBQ'd chicken wings and tasty ribs, you now get an unidentifiable piece of chicken and slices of dry insipid pork, we ate there last week and it was disgusting. The choice of items has also been reduced significantly and then they have the cheek to put little posters everywhere asking you not to overfill your plate and also clear your plate before you go back up for more which is a little harsh when what you get on your plate is inedible anyway.

On the upside, we ate at Café Agrabah and have to say it was lovely, very nice food.

I'm travelling out on 9th May 2 families with 2 kids 6,4,3,2 should we book restaurants in advance and what restaurants should we book? Any suggestions? We do have a character tea booked for one of the days but suggestions would be most welcome.
thanks

We've always found the buffets good if you are with children and if you are in a group. Agrabah is good, as is the one at Sequoia (Beaver Creek or Hunters Tavern, i can never remember which!) Restaurant des Stars in the Studios is also a good buffet.

Please be aware the menus that are linked are not up to date we just came back and the places we ate Blue Lagoon, Silver Spur etc were really quite different so don't rely to much on them

Hey Sparrowsgirl. if the menus have changed why did'nt you photograph them and submit to the DLRPmagic site? The information is only as up to date as the last person to submit new information!

Hi Minnie2610,

We went for the character breakfast on Thursday and for the price thought the breakfast good value for money.

It was buffet style. Hot food was bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and potatoes done in a garlic butter (which was remarkably nice!)

Cereal choices were not not great compared to our hotel (chocolate chocs and golden pops) and no toast either but plenty of fruit, yogurts, bread and plenty of french pastries.

The characters were fantastic and my 2 year old grand daughter had the time of her life in there!

you get one voucher per person per night booked at your onsite hotel ie if you are a party of 3, and you've booked 2 nights onsite, you will get a total of 6 vouchers. You can use them from when you first arrive until the day you leave, at buffet and table service only restaurants in the parks, some in the Village, and in all the onsite hotel restaurants. You don't get any vouchers for any children in your party aged under 3 years.

If you have Disney Express included in your package, then yes, you'll get your half board vouchers on the Eurostar.

Has anyone had the Full board meal plan vouchers? We used Standard Half board last year and thought it was great already having our main meals paid for. We go again In June and cant decide wether to do the full board this time or half board again.
If we did the Standard Full Board would we be able to use the cheaper counter vouchers in somewhere like Buzz pizza planet and just pay any extra? our boys loved it here last year.
It will be our twin boys 6th birthday whilst we are there and we would like to book cafe mickey for this, it says you can use plus plan vouchers in cafe mickey without paying extra, is this right?
Cant decide, half/full board, Standard/plus??? The Plus Full board seems expensive?
Any advice would be appreciated
Thank you

I have booked half board plus and was not told that I would not revive meal vouchers for my two year old could you explain how this works does he eat for free or do I pay?

under 3s eat for free in all the resort buffet restaurants. You will be charged at a table service restaurant if you order a meal for your under-3 though.

What Sequia lodge resturant is better? and for what value?

If there is a list of say 3 resturants to must do for my Niece who I plan to take next year, which ones should I take her too? Baring in mind I have a budget and I do not plan to take her to the Cinderella resturant at something like £70 a head!
So can anyone help me, I am vegiterian and I refuse to eat at the Silver spur steakhouse because last time was so dire?
I think Cafe Mikey is the best option, but it is so expensive for very cheap food, and last time I went, It was so busy and so cramped and so diabolical we walked out...so is there any tips?

Beaver Creek is table service and Hunters Grill is buffet so it totally depends on which style of eating you prefer. We have eaten in both and enjoyed them equally.

I'm also a vegetarian, but never tried the SL restaurants.

We always eat at Cafe Mickey and Agrabah Cafe. The last one offers many vegetarian salads and it's my favorite in the park. so if you like oriental food, I can recommend it.

There are also some good fast food options like the grilled vegetable burger. I've eaten the burger at Cafe des Cascadeurs. However the fast food in general is not the best at DLRP.
