Outside Pools & open windows

Hi all

Looking to upgrade to either the NPB or the NYH for our trip in August.

A few questions as I cannot see any on the forum.

1. Are there any small/shallow pools for children in either hotels, daughter is 6 we went to the NPB last Feb but didnt use the outside area so not sure if there is a shallow splash pool or not & if its just as deep in the main pool outside as it is inside.

2. Do the windows in the HNY open and are there any rooms that have a balcony.
3. Looking at pictures of the HNY it looks really dark inside is this the case or not?
4. Can you remove items from the Mini bar fridge to use for your own bits in the HNY as we had an empty fridge in the NPB last year we could use.

Hello,

1.No I dont think there are no shallow pools in these hotels but if you want to bring your daughter in you go with her and you can test to see if there is any shallow bits there probably is as its Disneyland

2.There are no rooms with balconies in hotel new york, not sure if windows open but in most hotels they dont for security reasons. There is air conditioning though.

3. I dont think the hotel is dark inside. It probably could be the theming as its meant to be a hotel in New York "the city that never sleeps"

4.If you could move things in the Newport Bay minibar I`d say you can in hotel New York. I heard if you move items in the minibar though there is some sort of automatic charger that charges you even if you dont use them.
Ask at reception to know for sure

dont know the answers to 1-3 as for number 4 when i went last janurary we stayed in the DLH and it charged you if you removed anything from the minibar we guessed it must have had weight sensors or something there was a notice on the door saying if anything was removed the room would be charged....
