At some point I'll find a better way to display items like that, with lots of pages. It should be more like a gallery or slideshow with thumbnails and just one image displayed at once, so you can jump between the pages. When that's worked it out, I might finally be able to share all 97 pages of this which has been scanned and waiting since Christmas.

You said you've scanned ALL the pages. Nuts Could you turn it into a PDF, so that we can download it in a single file? If you don't know how to turn multiple images into a PDF (I'm sure you do), just send me the files and I'll do it.

I didn't know how to do it but I've just taught myself, so it's coming.

I'm testing a new page format here, can you let me know if it works ok and what you think?



This is what I was talking about earlier, being able to browse through pages/images of an item within the page, not through a pop-up or lightbox. Hover left or right over the image and click to go to the next or previous, or click in the middle and you get a supersize 1200px image.

I haven't worked on the next/previous item links and other extras (previously in the right column), which will be moved down to the bottom for the new format.

When clicking on the page, it gives me a new TAB with an enlarged copy of the single page? (Google Chrome)
This should happen?

Yes, if you click the image in the centre, it should open the enlarged image just in a new window/tab as you describe. Because these images are larger than 1000 pixels, I decided it's better to do it that way so people can zoom in or out using their browser, getting a kind of "clean" view of the image. You can then go back to the document without losing your page.
