Single riders/Park Hours + General Orlando Advice

Postby Martyn » Thu Aug 16, 2012 7:59 pm

Title says it all really. Are there any rides with a single rider queue at WDW in Orlando?

If anyone could answer the same question for Universal, Busch and Seaworld too, that'd be fab!

Alos, I've just sorted out my little table with all the parks opening hours for the duration of my stay (see: sad!), and they seem really, really random.

Here's the Magic Kingdom's closing times for a week in Sept, starting Friday 7th:

Fri || Sat || Sun || Mon || Tues || Wed | Thur
7pm | 7pm | 9pm | 10pm | 7pm | 9pm | 10pm

Saturday having the earliest closing time and Mon/Thurs having the latest seems a bit wrong to me...

The only single rider line I have found at WDW was for Test Track. I've used it a couple of times. On crowded days when you can't get a fast pass, the single rider is faster. Unfortunately, Test Track is down at the moment for refurbishment and will re-open in the fall with a new theme. The promo stuff looks very Tron-ish, it will be cool to see what they do to one of my favorite rides. I can't think of any other attraction with a single rider line at WDW, I guess it's not as necessary with fast pass.

Was just thinking, could the early closing times on the weekend have something to do with the Halloween party witch is staring around that date? That could be a reason that they close early.
And have you checked the EMH regarding the closing times?

Changed the title again! :lol:

So, we're staying at Seaworld, we have free transport to all parks, but we dont want to HAVE to rely on that. What is the best way around? Taxi, or bus? I've heard a lot of people mention the I-ride trolley, but that doesn't appear to go anywhere near WDW or Universal.
