After the discussion about old programmes here, a new section is coming soon to DLRP Magic!: Memorabilia.
I'll be setting up a special email for people to send in their artefacts.

Anthony wrote: After deliberating for a long time, I've decided to be brave and not add any watermarks whatsoever to the images. Just keep them as they are and hope for honesty. Do you think that's the right decision, or a bit suicidal?

Riebi wrote:On one hand it´s always nice to get a credit for work, on the other hand things like program flyers never were a piece made by myself. It was always a piece of and made by Disney.
Willow wrote:Personally, I would add a small watermark. Nothing wrecking the images, just something so everyone knows where it came from.
Willow wrote:Do you accept files uploaded in a zip to a file-sharing website via the e-mail?
Mobi wrote:This is such a great idea! But please provide the images in high quality (printable) and not only website res.
Mobi wrote:No, I don't like the idea with the watermarks. I want to collect this kind of information and a watermark ruins it for me. If someone wants to steal them I say let them. There is no harm to DLRP Magic as it is simply not possible to compete with DLRP Magic in terms of design and content. I repeat: NO WAY.
Edit: I just had a thought... How about watermarked, website size images for the regular visitors but access to the not-watermarked and full-res images for the contributes to the archive (of course only if they request it - and only a collector would...)

pussinboots wrote:Are any media preferred over others? I mean, is there some collective yearning for pages of old guidemaps (i.e. text, prose, information), photographs, things like passports and sugar packets, or...?

Alan wrote:Have you heard of this guy called Tony Killeen? He has some rare construction photos of both Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park on his personal website:

Anthony wrote:... The Helmsman just sent me a wonderful restaurants brochure from 1992, really amazing.

The Butlin Boy wrote:Shouldn't the 2007-2010 WDS map have already been updated to include Playhouse Disney Live on Stage? So a 2007-2009 and a 2009-2010 instead?
