Thanks, both of you! :D

Raptor - there'd be no use in me taking a holiday, I'd only go to DLRP and then whole cycle of updates would begin again.

Today marks the start of a brand new weekly column for DLRP Today - Wish List.

The life of a Disneyland Resort Paris fan is full of wishes, be it new merchandise for your favourite attraction, a forgetten restaurant reopening or a major project like Splash Mountain. In this new column we’ll add an item to the DLRP Wish List each week that’s realistic, achievable and would hopefully make a visit to the resort even more magical. Then, it’s up to you to either support the cause or shout us down!

Eeek yes, I haven't had time today! I'm going to write them in advance from this week onwards. I'll get started in a second...

The title will be "There's no sound in Space"

Edit: It'll be on sometime tomorrow (well, 9th Aug).

Wish List No.2 - There's no sound in Space

Walt Disney was a firm believer in “educating whilst entertaining”, and so it’s a proud moment when we realise the most popular thrill ride at Disneyland Resort Paris has been doing this for over a year — without us perhaps even realising it. What we know as sound is actually vibrations in the air, and, with no molecules to vibrate, there really is no sound in space. Don’t believe us? Just ride Space Mountain: Mission 2…

send an email to disney

Postby seanmartina » Mon Aug 13, 2007 12:50 pm

Hi,
I thought id contact disney directly about the music on space mountain, i think this would make disney take notice if everyone did it. I was there in july and No Music, the previous july full music.. it did make a big difference. So heres my reply from disney that i received this morning

""""""
hi i sent an email to disney about the soundtrack here is the reply

Thank you for your email concerning your recent visit to Disneyland® Resort Paris.

I was delighted that you were able to visit the Resort with last month. We strive to go as far as possible to ensure that all guests are able to have a magical and memorable time here with regards to all aspects of their visit. Bearing this in mind, I sincerely hope that your overall stay was enjoyable.

Further to your enquiry, it would appear that there was a technical difficulty with the soundtrack during your recent visit. I sincerely apologise for any disappointment this may have caused. Please rest assured that I have passed your comments on to the Quality Manager of Disneyland® Park, for her information.

Disneyland® Resort Paris hopes to soon have the opportunity to welcome you once more to the resort.

Yours sincerely,

Great! It's guest feedback like this that can really make a difference.

I just approved your comment on the article itself too. I'm pretty thrilled the amount of response these two articles so far have got. The series won't just be things DLRP do wrong, honestly, it'll also suggest some new ideas too (eg. PhotoPass for character meets).

I've got ideas for maybe two more weeks, but if anyone has their own "wishes", feel free to post em here. Things like PhotoPass, restaurant changes, attraction tweaks, a better online calendar, particular characters you'd like to see more, halloween/christmas tweaks, new or better merchandise ideas, that kinda stuff. Anytime you've ever said "I wish DLRP would....."

As Frontierland only has one Boutique and has the BTM Photo Shop, I really think that Phantom manor should have a shop and for the ride to add a on ride photo, Maybe at the end with the ghost in the back ground in the mirror. And ride Merchandise like models of the Manor, Grave Stones, Etc;

Baloo is the new "Agrabah Café to reopen, but not for street rats" topic in DLRP Today, this weeks wish list ?

Edit; I didnt see this part !

Tempted by this teaser? Luckily, this won’t be one for our Wish List. Our partners at magicblog announced earlier this week confirmation that Agrabah Café will finally reopen for good from 6th November 2007!

Here's No.3, better late than never, the inevitable wish for more/better CDs...

Wish List No.3 - Tous en Train, pas en CD?

The 15th Anniversary has been a huge success already, and for us fans truly a year when “any dream can come true.” But not everything has been perfect. The merchandise, for example. Which would you rather buy, “Need Magic?” from the unsuccessful 2003 advertising or “Tous en train” from Disney Characters’ Express? The people who make the CDs think differently…

CDs are quite a pain there but i thought that "Une Journee a Disneyland Paris" was a Good Cd. :)

It had songs from everyland and including some ride tracks like Pirates of the Carribean, Phantom manor and even the Space Mountain Area Loop.

But i guess everything must have went downhill after this CD. It was released in 1999, i think.
