Restaurants - menu updates and dining questions (old topic)

Postby Anthony » Sat Jul 30, 2011 10:26 pm

This is a new general topic to discuss everything about dining at Disneyland Paris, including the latest updates and changes to restaurant menus across the resort.

Over at DLRP Magic!, you can find over 50 menus from Disneyland Paris restaurants. Here's the full list:

If you spot any incorrect or outdated information on the menus above, please let me know right away! Either post the changes here, email me at menus@dlrpmagic.com or send me a message. If there are just a few items or prices to be updated, it's enough just to type out the changes. But if several items or even the whole menu has changed, it'd be great if you could post a photo of the full menu board, in a size large enough to read and copy all the text.

Feel free to use this topic for all your questions, tips and opinions about dining at Disneyland Paris!

Thanks, and -- bon appétit!

This is a really good forum, I am hoping someone can offer me advice with my quest!

We are a family of four Mum and Dad eat everything, daughter eats chicken pasta and burgers, son in the problem only eats plain burger or sausages.... our trips often end in arguments over where to eat and usually end up in MacDonalds or the expensive Annettes diner.

Can anyone recommend where our family can have a nice meal catering for all without the endless moaning about food.

many thanks in advance

Two of my boys are very fussy too. We have found that The Steakhouse in the village will oblige with plain burgers.

Restaurant Menus update:

Victoria's Home-Style Restaurant at the end of Discovery Arcade has changed from pizzas to a new selection of "tartines", toasted open sandwich slices.

Menus for Casey's Corner, Plaza Gardens Restaurant, Market House Deli, Cable Car Bake Shop and Last Chance Cafe have also been updated, mostly with slight price increases.

Finally, brand new menu pages have been added for Cookie Kitchen, The Coffee Grinder, The Ice Cream Company and The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour.

My husband used to be a vegetarian, and we found that Agrabah Cafe was a really good place to go. Their starters buffet is full of delicious veggy choices, and for the main course you can have the couscous with the vegetables (they're separate from the meat)

Like N2O already mentioned, Agrabah Cafe is a good choice. I'm also vegetarian and Agrabah Cafe is my favorite restaurant at DLRP.

The fast food restaurants offer cheese pizzas and pasta marinara. Both options aren't that bad, but I'm not the biggest fast food fan. Table service restaurants might be the better choice. We have been to Walt's and Cafe Mickey and both restaurants offered very good pasta dishes.

I want to warn you that even the table service restaurants at DLRP aren't very creative. Pasta is the only thing they could do last year. It was a huge disappointment compared to WDW.

Take a look here to find more informations:

Hi, I just got back from DLP with a vegetarian Hubby and 2 veggie kids. Agrabah was good, my hubby loved it and my 7 year old loved the pasta and couscous.

Cafe Mickeys: Hubby enjoyed the pasta without parmesan (don't trust it to be veggie friendly).

For a cheap and cheerful option in the day we went to http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/dinin ... a-outpost/ this proved to be a great choice for my kids (& hubby). They do a decent size pasta box with garlic bread as a side on a drink.

We can always rely on Santa Fe for a variety of food which is a favourite of my kids. Other places we wanted to try were either not open or didn't have a veggie options for our kids, so we didn't get to try there. Lots of places we wanted to try but just didn't have the time, so saving them for our next visit.

I made a little booklet for our visit and it helped loads. I put the veggie options that are listed here on this fab site into and found it to be very accurate for my visit. Menus change regular but I think this site has everything listed as far as I could see on my visit.

hi! ive been before with a particularly picky family when it comes to food-
cheaper options would be - mcdonalds, caseys(hot dogs- but very nice 1s!) cowboy bbq cookout is burgers, salads , chips things like that.
cafe mickey and walts also serves burgers , salads, chips , pastas but also steaks and fish high end dishes- these two are highly priced but very nice.
:-) hope this helps

ok - slightly confused, when you put California grill on the list as premium half board, does that mean if i got the premium vouchers it would cover a meal in california grill or just give me a discount?

Thanksgiving

Postby munckin25 » Fri Oct 14, 2011 12:34 pm

Hi all,

Will be visiting Disney on the 24th November, and wondered if any of the restaurants had a thanksgiving menu? Does anyone know if that happens? Thanks so much.

Me either but then DLP is probably more euro themed than US themed (bonfire night fireworks which celebrate Guy Fawkes trying to blow up the British houses of parliament as an example)

I have a question regarding Inventions restaurant. Is it a character dining experience at lunch time?

Inventions at lunch wasn't character dining when I was there last Feb. It may be in high season?

Does anyone know if Restaurant des stars is a character restaurant. The DLP write us says it is where Ratatouille hangs out but then doesn't list it in the character restaurants. All very confusing!

Edit: Scrap that, it's not the DLP website! The DLRPMAgic website says this "An unforgettable Ratatouille encounter - meet Chef Rémy "in person"!"
Character restaurant or not?!
